Ecommpay Recognised with Three Nominations at 2025 Women in Tech Employer Awards

Leading global payment provider Ecommpay has been shortlisted in three categories at this year’s Women in Tech Employer Awards, reflecting its continued commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion across its operations.

The nominations highlight Ecommpay’s leadership team and its efforts to improve accessibility across its services. Chief Compliance Officer and UK Chair, Willem Wellinghoff, is a finalist in the Outstanding Advocate for Women in Tech – Male Ally category. Meanwhile, Chief Marketing Officer Miranda McLean has also been shortlisted, in the Outstanding Advocate for Women in Tech category.

In addition, the company’s significant recent upgrades to its website and payment platform—aimed at enhancing accessibility—earned it a place as a finalist in the Best Initiative of the Year category, selected by expert judges in equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI).

Winners will be announced at a black-tie drink reception, three-course meal and awards event at the London Hilton Park Lane, on Tuesday 11th November 2025.

“Ecommpay is on a mission to achieve financial inclusivity for all, a momentous change that requires significant investment that relies on commitment from the very top,” commented Miranda McLean, Chief Marketing Officer, Ecommpay. “Our entire leadership team is focused on increasing inclusivity by making our services, and those of our clients, accessible to anyone. We are therefore extremely proud to have been recognised by Women in Tech and look forward to celebrating the achievements with other EDI-focused businesses at the ceremony.”
