    Exclusive: Although many of us use password management software, we don’t trust them.

    Many of us are constantly hoarding digital accounts. Password managersIt is a handy tool that helps us keep track of every password and login we have.

    A survey of 1,000 people was conducted. TechRadar ProIt was found that three-quarters (75%) of users had at minimum one password manager to store credentials. However, most users were not confident in their ability maintain these details secure.

    A third of those surveyed used both a dedicated manager and one that was integrated with their browser. Another third used one of the two. Only a quarter of those surveyed have never used a dedicated password manager, while just over a tenth use one.

    Trust issues

    The results of a survey asking people to rate their confidence in password managers’ security were not impressive. Six out of ten was the most common result, with 144 people choosing it. Five and seven were closely followed by 140 and 136 people who chose them respectively.
