Chrysler, the American automaker, claims it will be all-electric by 2028. It is therefore essential that the interior design supports and emphasizes this shift towards zero-emissions. Chrysler today unveiled a “demonstrator cockpit” that will showcase a variety of new technologies for future EV owners.

We hope that future owners will hate the physical buttons, because these photos are a good indicator of how few there will be. However, there will be many screens.

The demonstrator will bring together a suite Stellantis-branded software

The demonstrator will include a suite of Stellantis software, including the STLA Brain Operating System (Brand), STLA AutoDrive Level 3 driver assistance and the STLA Smart Cockpit infotainment systems. The aggregation idea is intended to bring all these products together into one system.

Chrysler claims that the cockpit demo is designed for helping “manage the friction, chaos and everyday life with thoughtfully linked technology with a contemporary and sustainable environment that anticipates the customer experience and delivers harmony in motion.” Chrysler believes that its vehicles will achieve this by anticipating drivers’ needs before they even get in the car.

The car’s software can sync all of your calendars with your smart home data. It will also note when and whereabouts your appointments are. This allows you to commute to all your destinations and charge EVs at any stop along the way. A virtual assistant will greet you as you enter the vehicle and verify your identity using “biometric recognition”.

The car will have Level 3 Driver Assist, which will allow it to perform all driving tasks within a defined area such as a motorway or highway without human intervention. It allows you to drive hands-free, out of sight. (Experts sayThis type of driver assistance feature can be dangerous depending on how it is implemented.

Chrysler promises fun and well-being features such as meditation games, karaoke and a DJ. Chrysler appears to be one of the many automakers that are trying to offer in-car gaming experiences like Tesla.

The Synthesis cockpit design was inspired from Chrysler AirflowThe concept version of CES was presented at CES last year. The concept, which will be produced in 2025, was intended to be a preview for what’s to follow. Despite its undeveloped branding, the Airflow is a very useful product. Historical paintingThe automaker believes that a concept car is a sign of the “future direction”, nearly 100-year-old company.
