Twitterbot users can login and browse tweets. some saidThe service stopped them from posting anything to Twitter without displaying an error message stating that they had exceeded their “data limit”. Users now claim they are. Can’t log in at all.

Twitter has done nothing to cause the client’s inability to access the internet. Haddad tells The edgeThey didn’t hear from Twitter so they “decided” to use the new API keys and check if that fixes their problem. Tweetbot was able to temporarily avoid service disruptions by using the new API keys, even though it made it semi-working.
As mentioned iOS developers caught upTweetbot had likely issues when it was brought back online by using different API keys, which placed less restrictions on it activity. Mysk explains that the Twitter API restricts new apps to very low limits. Tweetbot users are now limited to 300 posts per fifteen minutes.
Things started to unravel on Thursday when users discovered that third-party Twitter apps such as Tweetbot, Twitterific, or the Android version Fenix were no longer available. Despite the confusion, Twitter and CEO Elon Muss have not yet publicly acknowledged the outage. They have also not reached out to developers to let the them know what’s happening. Meanwhile, Twitterific and Fenix on Android are still pending.
To me report from the informationTwitter may have deliberately disabled third party apps. The outlet was able to view internal messages and found that a senior software engineering stated that the outage had been “deliberate”. Another message claimed that Twitter is working with developers affected by the outage to release statements, although it’s not clear when.
