JUNSEI UNVEILS LIMITED EDITION MENU FOR JAPAN WEEK

Junsei, London’s favourite yakitori hotspot in Marylebone, is serving up a special limited-edition menu to celebrate Japan Week Festival (26th October – 1st November). And, with five signature skewers, a donburi rice bowl and dessert plus a welcome bellini for just £35 per person, it’s excellent value.

With a myriad of dishes, Junsei puts the spotlight on yakitori (meaning ‘grilled bird’), utilising every part of the organic slow reared Suffolk chicken, from breast and leg through to heart, liver and gizzard. Chef Patron Aman Lakhiani’s in-depth understanding of Japanese cooking techniques and ingredients, gleaned from his training at Tokyo’s Tsukiji Sushi Academy and time at Michelin- starred Japanese restaurant, Dos Palillos in Barcelona, is in evidence in the expertly executed menu.

The Japan Week Festival limited-edition menu is available from 26th October to the 1st November for £35pp. Quote ‘Japan Week Festival’ when booking by phone.
