Windows 11 operating systemThe latest version is plagued by a bug that severely affects gaming performance for some users, leading to crashes Update 22H2It is blocked on these computer to prevent the problem from occurring – but, the good news is that it is now partially lifted.

This is the Windows 11 22H2 error. Causes “less than expected performance” with some games(and other programs), including stuttering frames rates (a very dangerous phenomenon). This was due to the incorrect use of the GPU debugging functions on the affected computers.

as such Newen(Opens in a new window) I note that Microsoft hasn’t actually fixed this issue – yet – but has added a new note to their Version Health dashboard that reads: “Updated protection hold with protection ID 41990091 to protect Windows devices that have one of the minor subset of games and apps that are still affected by this issue.”

What this means is that a lot of Windows 11 users who were previously blocked by said suspended protection are now clear to download the 22H2 update — only people running one of a small number of vulnerable games and apps are now blocked from upgrading.

Analysis: The unlucky must wait patiently, but how long?

We hope that this means the majority Computer game enthusiastsIf you have been stopped from upgrading because of this glitch, you can now get the Windows 11 22H2 Upgrade. Microsoft states that it may take up to 48 hours for 22H2 to become available and the ban on upgrading will be lifted.

Microsoft posted this update on their health dashboard several days ago. It should now be accessible to all who are eligible. If the 22H2 update still isn’t showing up, it’s worth restarting your computer and checking for updates — but if that doesn’t do the trick, you’re probably one of the unlucky people still affected by the bug.

In this instance, you can only wait patiently for Microsoft and to implement a solution. You can guess how long it will take.

For an example, stinging bugs can be released from their chains and we can help them. Recently experienced a rather unpleasant Windows 11 printer error– A bug that removed important features from certain devices like the ability print in color – can take a few months to resolve. This glitch should not be difficult to fix, but who knows?

Not being able to upgrade to the latest Windows 11 is a frustrating experience, seeing as you might miss out on feature additions, or perhaps more worryingly, work on the security front to fix security holes — the latter of which can leave your PC vulnerable to exploits.

We advise that you upgrade as soon as possible. However, early adopters could run into issues or stop rendering. . In other words, it can be wise to hold off for a little while, but don’t hold back for too long — just enough time to monitor headlines and online forums to see if any bad-sounding glitches pop up with any given update. .
