The original Soundcore Motion Boom can be used if you don’t have the budget for the Soundcore Motion Boom Plus. Although it’s lighter than the Motion Boom Plus, the sound isn’t quite as clear or loud, but it still delivers excellent sound for the price, especially when compared to smaller speakers like the JBL Char 5, which cost more.

The first three generations of JBL’s Clip mico Bluetooth speaker had a circular design. For the fourth-generation Clip 4, JBL changed to an oval shape, added USB-C charging and rounded out the speaker slightly. It is more durable with a stronger integrated carabiner “clip”. It also sounds better, with a clearer and louder sound. It is fully waterproof and dustproof, with an IP67 rating. Due to its small size, it’s one of the best Bluetooth speakers.

Tribit is well-known for its small Bluetooth speakers, which offer excellent sound quality and great features for their price. The new Stormbox Blast Bluetooth Boom Box Speaker is the first to offer impressive sound quality for its size. It also has an integrated light show and external USB charging.

It weighs in at 12 pounds (5.45kg) and has two 30-watt woofers (and two 15-watt speakers). However, it is much lighter than the Ankers MotionBoom Plus (see below). It also produces more bass and punch than the speaker, but it lacks clarity. Also, the midrange—where the vocals live—is a bit off at XBass’ default setting (I preferred the Music EQ setting in the companion app, which is a bit more balanced). You can upgrade the speaker’s firmware and pair two Stormbox Blasts together to make a stereo pair. This greatly improves sound quality.

Battery life is excellent. The battery can last up to 30 hours with moderate volume. It is also IPX7 rated, meaning it is completely waterproof. The Tribit Stormbox Blast, like the Soundcore By Anker Motion Boom Plus is a great value. It’s also a good audio choice that compares well to the JBL boom boxes speakers, which are more expensive but offer a superior design. The headset can be purchased for between $180 and $200. We’ve yet to see a headset for $160.

JBL makes small improvements to each Flip version. The Flip 6 doesn’t look any different from the Flip 5, but it has improved sound. It features two-way drivers, a tweeter, and a tweeter as well as dual passive radiators. These help to deliver deeper bass than you may think.

It is fully waterproof and dustproof, with an IPX67 rating. It can play audio at moderate volume levels for up to 12 hours and can be charged via USB-C, just like the Flip 5. It is available in multiple colors and is one of the most compact soundbars.

Ultimate Ears was a favorite of ours Wonderboom 2The third-generation Wonderboom 3 offers some improvements, including a longer battery life (upto 13 hours) at moderate volume levels and a new Bluetooth chip, which allows for a greater wireless range of over 130ft (40m). Although the design is unchanged, the speaker can now be purchased in different colors.

The Wonderboom 3 is priced at $100, but sometimes it can be purchased for a little less. They are IP67 rated, meaning they are waterproof and dustproof.

The model still has an external boost mode that boosts the treble. You can also link two speakers together (or pair a Wonderboom 3 and a Wonderboom 2) to create stereo pairings with the push of a button on each speaker. Wonderboom 3 looks very much like Wonderboom 2 and produces a very good sound for its small size. It can only deliver so much punch, however, because it is short and squat.

Logitech has not upgraded the USB-C charging port at Ultimate Ears, which is part of Logitech. The Micro-USB cable is still used to charge the speaker, which can be a bit glitchy.

JBL’s has arrived. Boombox 3The Boombox 2 is now available at a huge discount of $550 The Boombox 3 has a better sounding boombox, thanks to the new three-driver system (the tweeter sounds more clear and detailed), but the Boombox 2 is still a solid boombox capable of producing powerful bass and is fully waterproof.
