These are the headphones that you use when your “good” pair of headphones is too difficult. These wired earphones were created in a time when 3.5mm connectors were still common. They can be used with most tablets and phones today, but you will need a dongle. Although it is annoying, this allows me to “flap” without worrying about battery life and degradation. They lasted. These have been on my person for four years. I’ve fallen asleep on them numerous times, but I’ve only had one replacement due to frayed cord. Although the plastic-heavy design is cheap and uncomfortable, it was durable enough to last.

It’s still old and $15 so it doesn’t look great. You won’t hear as much detail or treble brilliance from these earbuds than you would with better-sounding ones in the $30-50 range. It is a good start. Low frequency sounds are not overemphasized and high frequency sounds aren’t heard as clearly.
