Today Netflix announced that training videos from Nike Training Club will be available on the streaming service. All Netflix subscribers will be able to access the first batch of videos beginning December 30th.
Nike Training Club videos were previously available only on the iOS or Android app. They guide users through fitness programs and other wellness strategies. Nike claims it will upload more that 30 hours of video onto Netflix. This release has been split into two parts and is available in 10 different languages. Before Netflix, you could only watch it on a large screen by connecting your phone to a TV via an HDMI cable, wirelessly using AirPlay, or Chromecast. You don’t have to exercise while staring at your phone screen. Netflix will allow you to start a video and it will even let you do so without the need to connect to your TV.
The first group includes five programs that are spread over 46 video clips. “Kickstart Fitness with the Basics” (13 episodes), “Two Weeks to a Stronger Core” (seven episodes), “Falling in Love with Vinyasa Yoga” (six episodes), “HIT & Strength with Tara” (14 episodes) and “Feel- Good Fitness” (six episodes), all arriving at the end of December. The second installment is expected to arrive in 2023. Once the series is available, you can find it in the Nike collection on Netflix or by searching for “Nike.”
