It was last time we got it iPad ProUpdated October 2022 when the premium 11-inch & 12.9-inch panels were upgraded with the Apple M2 processor. According to rumor, these screens will be changed in 2024 when the next models become available.

This information comes from Ross Young, show analyst. He spoke to him Mac rumors(Opens in a new window). First, display technology will apparently change from the IPS LCD LED (11-inch) and IPS LCD mini-LED (12.9-inch) of the current iPad Pros to OLED — just like the flagship iPhones.

This should translate into better screens in terms contrast and darker blacks. However, the current iPad Pro lineup has some impressive panels. Rumours have been circulating that Apple will switch from OLED to OLED iPads. for some time now.

    change sizes

Young claims that there will also be changes in the serving sizes. The 11-inch iPad Pro will become the 11.1-inch iPad Pro, while the 12.9-inch iPad Pro will become the 13-inch iPad Pro — not much difference at the time, but it’s worth noting.

Apple could shrink the bezels on the premium iPads so that the overall dimensions of panels remain the same, while the screens get larger. OLED panels could also be used to make devices lighter and thinner.

Additionally, Despite previous leaksYoung said that while this suggested that Apple was working to create a larger iPad Pro, it’s not now. Apple will likely stick to the two sizes we have been talking about for the next iteration.

Analysis: Making iPad Pro more professional

iPad Pros were always high-end luxury devices meant for people on a large budget who require the most power and performance. iPad for beginners (Yours for $449 / £499 / AU$749) It basically does everything the more expensive models do.

OLED will provide another advantage that will justify the higher price of iPad Pro models. It remains to be seen if these panels will cost as much — but we assume that’s what Apple will aim for.

Although the change in size is not as interesting, Apple clearly wants to keep an iPad Pro large in its range. It not only gives buyers more screen real-estate, but it also gives them a reason to consider a higher-priced tablet. iPad Air.

These new tablets will be available in 2024. This could mean that 2023 is a quiet year for Apple tablets. While this may give Apple time to catch up with their competitors, it also means that the new iPad Pros should offer a significant performance boost.
