Android 13 QPR2 introduces new emojis for Pixel phones

Google puts files up Android 13QPR2 beta2 update today. Unicode 15 support will be available along with the update. This will allow Pixel devices to use 2o new Emojis.

Unicode Standard’s latest version contains a new set emojis that include a wagging facial, jellyfish, donkey and many more. Google soon after the announcement launched its own Unicode Standard. AdvertisingIt will support Unicode 15 in its products starting next year.

Emojipedia announced 31 new emoji. This announcement also includes skin tone variants of the right- and left-hand emojis.

Before you can start using these Emojis, there are some things you need to know. These emojis aren’t yet available on all Android devices. You can send it to your friends, but only QPR2 beta 2 users will be able see it.

If you own a Samsung, you probably already have access the emojis in this upgrade. SamsungIt jumped ahead to include this standard in the Android 13-flavored One UI 5 Update. The move compensated for Unicode 14’s previous neglect in 2021.
