Twitter’s tab “For You” It debuted on iOS devices earlier this week, started rolling out to desktop browsers. The “shine” icon, which used to allow you to switch between platform-generated algorithms or reverse time feeds, has been replaced by the new interface.

However, the desktop version of Twitter doesn’t force you to use your For You feed as the updated Twitter App for iOS does. When I visited the website from my computer, I switched between Follow view and closed the browser tab that was showing my feed. When I opened another tab and navigated back towards Twitter, the site defaulted into the following view.
