    According to DaringNew York Police Department reported that a robbery took place in the early morning. According to reports, the theft involved a 27 year-old man who was robbed after he left an Apple Store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.

    According to the report the victim lost $95,000 worth iPhones in the robbery. The victim purchased the iPhones to resell through his small business. He is a distributor so he makes large purchases from Apple.

    The victim had entered the Apple Store 24-hours at 1:45 a.m. where an employee placed 300 iPhone 13s into three bags. The victim was attempting to place the bags in his car when a second car pulled up, with two men demanding the bags.

    The victim tried to resist, but the thieves managed the theft of one bag before driving off into darkness. The incident ended with a punch in his nose and the loss or 125 iPhones worth $95,000.

    Fortunately, the victim did not sustain serious injuries and was able refuse medical attention. Although the police have not released any details about the suspect or the vehicle at this time, the investigation is still ongoing.

    It is possible the victim would have gone to the shop in the early hours of the morning to avoid being seen carrying expensive items. This just shows that you should never let your guard down, even if no one is there.
