Geotab, a global leader in connected vehicle solutions, has announced the acquisition of the commercial operations of Verizon Connect’s telematics business in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, and Australia. This strategic acquisition, which excludes Verizon Connect’s product, engineering, and other non-sales-focused teams, significantly enhances Geotab’s international footprint and bolsters its presence in the vital small to mid-sized fleet segment across key global markets.

The integration of Verizon Connect’s commercial operations in Europe and Australia further reinforces Geotab’s commitment to delivering unmatched value and comprehensive data insights to its customers worldwide. This move strengthens Geotab’s reach and its ability to provide tailored solutions for fleet operators, ensuring access to leading telematics technology, AI-driven insights, and dedicated local support.

Geotab is delighted to welcome more than 400 experienced Verizon Connect employees from across Europe and Australia as part of the acquisition.
